Light The Night Walk 2011
Hi there! It's Natalee. I just wanted to share how special the Light the Night Walk in Annapolis was for me and our friends. Being part of this event meant so much, not just because we were raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, also because it brought together people from all walks of life who have been touched blood cancers.
As we walked under the night sky, holding our lanterns, I felt an incredible sense of community. Each colored balloon represented different journeys: those currently fighting, survivors, and in memory of loved ones lost. It was such a touching tribute, and honestly, I found it uplifting as we celebrated hope and resilience together.
The atmosphere was electric with support and empathy, and it reminded me of the strength we all share in facing challenges. I'm grateful to have shared this experience with such amazing friends and to honor those affected by these diseases. It truly was a night to remember!
